You can also go under the Medi-Dyne page and take the 2Toms Challenge and find out for yourself just how good these products are, if you have never used them. If you have used them you can tell them why you love 2Toms for a chance to win a gift certificate.
I currently have been using the BlisterShield on my long runs and I can honestly say that it really works. I have a wide foot so my one foot tends to rub up against my shoe, causing huge blisters. I will be honest I was skeptical at first because nothing has worked for me. Band-Aids, nope!!! Blister rub, nope!!!! wearing 2 pairs of socks, nope and it made my feet sweat. So you can see why I had my doubts when I first received the BlisterShield. I started out using it on short runs just to be safe, and found that it was working. Next step was to really test it and go for a long run, it worked like a charm. I have used it since and plan on staying with it. Recently I ran a half marathon and I really got to see how good it was. I was sore, and beat down from the race but my feet felt great.
The SportShield is another product I can say is worth using. You may remember in the fall when I wrote about needing something for the chaffing before the Columbus Marathon. My Vaseline was not up to par and I decided to contact Medi-Dyne and see if they could help. Sure enough they were able to get me the SportShield and I ran the race with no chaffing. One thing I really like about this product is, it goes on with no mess and doesn't have you walking around with your hands all sticky and messy. I will be trying the other products soon and look forward to reviewing them for you.
Recently I just posted about supporting the companies you see on twitter, because they are the ones that really care about you and want to see you succeed. Well Medi-Dyne is exactly that kind of company. Their products are made with the athlete in mind and they really do want to see you succeed while being pain free. Be sure to check in with Runchat this week and you can learn more about this great company.
